Limited Company Reserve Postal enables limited companies to benefit from attractive interest rates on semi-liquid funds. Transacting by post using pre-paid envelopes means that time doesn't have to be spent in making visits to branch offices.

The interest rate is variable. It is calculated on a daily basis and is added to your account annually on the 31st March. Alternatively it can be paid directly to your bank account.

The rate of interest being paid will be confirmed after each transaction.

If, at any time, the balance on your account falls below the minimum balance of £500 we will reduce the rate of interest to that paid on our Instant Access account.

Tax status Interest is paid gross.
Conditions for bonus payment  Not applicable.
Withdrawal arrangements No notice is required. A maximum of 4 withdrawals per month is allowed.

Operating the account

You will be provided with an investment pack containing all the stationery you require to: 

 Pay money in

  • By post using the paying in slip and pre-paid envelope.
  • By Standing Order from your bank account.

Take Money Out

  • By post, using the withdrawal slip and pre-paid envelope provided. The minimum withdrawal amount is £250. No prior notice is required.

Withdrawals are paid via the BACS system directly to your bank account and will normally be available within 4 working days after we receive the request. For your added security we are unable to send out cheques to your home address or to third parties.

Keeping up to date

Each time a transaction is carried out on your account we will issue a transaction advice slip giving details of the transaction and a balance update. In addition we will provide you with a statement every half year in April and October.

Simply read our Terms & Conditions, download and complete the application form and return it along with your intial investment and proof of identity documentation for each named signatory on the account to: 

Limited Company Reserve Postal, Vernon Building Society, 19 St. Petersgate, Stockport SK1 1HF. 

In addition we will also need a copy of the minutes of the meeting at which the resolution to open the account was passed, your letterhead showing the company registration number and the original certificate of incorporation. We will carry out a company search. In signing the application form you are authorising us to make the search.
