TICKLED PINK CHARITY BAKE-OFF

Vernon staff held month long bake-off in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness

Staff in our Finance Department raised £352 for charity by selling sweet treats and cakes throughout October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Proceeds will help fund research to improve the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure of breast cancer – which accounts for almost one in three of all cancers in women.

Mike Hanson, Chief Executive of the Society, said: “The team have used their own initiative to make a great fundraising effort, as well as further increasing awareness of how we can reduce the impact of breast cancer.”
