Renewing your mortgage deal

If your current mortgage deal is due to end in the next 3 months, you may be able to switch to a new deal.

It's important to note, as part of your current mortgage deal, when it expires, you will move to our Standard Variable Rate (SVR) for the remainder of the term. Being on SVR means that you won't have any restrictions relating to overpayments or Early Repayment Charges applying to your mortgage. If you wanted to make any overpayments to your mortgage, being on SVR may be beneficial for a short period.

It's easy to switch with us. If you know which deal you want, you just need to let us know by returning a couple of forms and then we'll arrange for your new deal to start as soon as your current one is up. If you aren't sure, you can let us know using this form and we'll arrange for an advisor to get in touch with you.

You can only begin to renew your deal if you have received a letter from us confirming your options, but if you've got any other general queries or if you're on SVR and would like to take out a new mortgage deal, you can contact our team on 0161 429 4304 or emailing switch@thevernon.co.uk to discuss your options.

Why renew with us?

  • No credit or affordability assessment if no changes are being made to the mortgage.
  • No revaluation of your property.
  • Reserve a new deal up to 4 months before your current deal ends.

What you'll need:

  • Your access code and mortgage details, found in your renewal letter
