The Vernon is a mutual building society, this means that instead of having shareholders, we're run for the benefit of our members who collectively own the business - our savings and mortgage customers.
As a mutual, we invest our profits back into the Society in order to give our members the best rates and service we can. This also enables us to support local charities and community groups within the Stockport area; something we're incredibly passionate about.
