We were very proud to be sponsoring The Mayor of Stockport's Charity Ball, which was raising funds for Stockport Sea Cadets! There were some amazing guests, food, and music, alongside great prizes auctioned off to support the local charity
We recently had the pleasure of being the main sponsor of The Mayor of Stockport's Charity Ball in Stockport Town Hall's ballroom! The event was organised by the Mayor of Stockport, Cllr Graham Greenhalgh, and there were some amazing guests, food, and music. Most importantly, some fantastic items were being auctioned off in support of Stockport Sea Cadet Corp.
Stockport Sea Cadets "aims to give young people an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, they learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty, and how to be the best version of themselves". They offer a range of activities from sailing, windsurfing, and powerboating, to rock climbing, camping, and music - to name a few. At Stockport Sea Cadets, you can also gain different qualifications that you can take with you once you leave Sea Cadets.
The ball had plenty of musical entertainment to keep guests entertained throughout the evening including Sospiroso, the Stopchordians, Phil Richmond, and Jazz Harmonists, as well as an evening meal and wine for attending guests.
In support of Stockport Sea Cadets, the charity event auctioned off prizes to raise funds for the local charity.

One of the Vernon gang who attended The Mayor of Stockport's Charity Ball said:
"I was honoured to be invited to the Mayor's Ball at Stockport Town Hall and celebrate with Vernon colleagues and our special guests. I got to talk to those in Stockport who do amazing work with charities and support a cause that means more can be done to support Stockport's local area. It was a pleasure to be involved."
